Image: Cold desert plant in rocky terrain of Spiti valley

This is probably the most commonly visible cold desert plant that is found all over the rocky terrain of Spiti. From distance it looks like a heap of grass on the ground or the slope of the mountains and in close look it reveals its delicate intertwining shrub like stems and dark green leaves dotted with small yellow colored flowers all over in the blooming time.
