A press meet was organized for Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2012 at Blue Frog in Mumbai. It was held to announce the participating designers and sponsors.
86 designers, including veterans Pallavi Jaikishan, Wendell Rodricks, Neeta Lulla, Anita Dongre, Krishna Mehta and Ritu Beri will show their designs.
There is speculation that Kareena Kapoor might be the showstopper this year.
Purnima Lamba, Head Innovations Lakme, said, "At this point we have not decided the prospect of it but she is very excited to walk for us. So Kareena might be the show stopper".
Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2012 is scheduled to be held from August 3-7.
