Lotus Temple or Bahai's house of worship is a lotus shaped structure in Delhi. The place is well known for its unique architecture and has found various admirers due to this specialty. The temple is designed by architect Fariburz Sahba. The temple seems to be echoing universal peace and refrain from prejudice which is guiding principle of people from Bahai faith.
The temple was opened for public in the year 1986. Its large lotus shaped structure can accommodate 1300 persons at a time.
The temple welcomes people of every faith and all can come and prey as per their religious beliefs.
