Shri Harendra Singh being facilitated with the honor of "Visisth Bihari Samman" during the Bihar Shatabadi Diwas 2012 by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Harendra Singh has served the Indian hockey for decades and has been involved with Indian Hockey as chief, national or an assistant coach. He is also a recipient of the Shiv Chhatrapati Award by the Maharashtra government in 1990 and has made Bihar proud by his outstanding contributions to the country.
