Cycas is a gymnosperm belonging to the family Cycadaceae. The plant is easiest to grow for the beginners, as it requires almost no maintenance once planted. Moreover, Cycads are extremely long-lived. The spirally arranged pinnate leaves look beautiful and make it a favourite ornamental plant.
