'Frustrated' Prince Harry 'cannot wait to spread his wings'

London, Tue, 03 Feb 2009 ANI

London, February 2 (ANI): Prince Harry is reportedly 'desperate' to take to the sky and spread his wings as he trains to pilot the meanest attack machine in the British Army.

The third in line to the throne, who is allegedly keen on making a comeback on the frontline after having being pulled out from the Afghan War, has seen a hard beginning to 2009, after ending his five-year relationship with Chelsy Davy, and facing probe for his infamous "Paki" remark.

But the soldier prince was said to have maintained his sights on chasing his Apache dreams, which require aspiring pilots to undergo a rigorous 18-month-programme that tests their aptitude to handle the 45 million pound attack helicopter.

The party-loving royal will also have to follow the Army's strict rules for the learners, which include staying away from the bottle for months at a time.

The 24-year-old, who recently endured a terrifying helicopter crash simulator as part of his training, remains purportedly undeterred in his ambitions, as per sources.

"It's frustrating. Harry is desperate to get up in the sky, but has a lot of hoops to go through first," the Sun quoted a source as saying. (ANI)
