Sylvester Stallone to write-direct-star in 'The Expendables'

New York, Nov 9 (IANS) After two box office failures -- "Rocky Balboa" and "John Rambo" - Hollywood action star Sylvester Stallone is once again writing, directing and starring in "The Expendables".

The film revolves around a team of mercenaries on a mission to overthrow a South American dictator and it will go on floors in Feb next year.

Co-starring him in the film would be British actor Jason Statham, and Jet Li is in final negotiations for the movie, reports hollywood.com.

Meanwhile, Stallone is also believed to be preparing yet another "Rambo" film.
