Islamabad, Fri, 30 Dec 2011 ANI

Islamabad, Dec 30(ANI): Pakistan's Kashmir Committee Chairperson Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has said the country will continue extending moral, political and diplomatic support to Kashmiris.

He was speaking while chairing the committee meeting at Parliament House.

The meeting focussed on discussing confidence- building measures like trade across the Line of Control.

The Committee was also informed that the nuclear pact between both countries has been extended for five years.

The Kashmir Committee called on the Pakistan's Foreign Office to put the Kashmir issue as a priority because it is a core issue.

"Kashmiris have rendered unforgettable sacrifices and we should not do anything which damage the Kashmir cause," The News quoted Rehman, as saying.

"We may have differences on other issues, but we are all united on three issues friendship with China, nuclear assets and Kashmir," he added. (ANI)
