Islamabad, Dec 6 (ANI): The Pakistan foreign office has reportedly summoned its envoys from the world capitals in protest against the NATO attacks that killed around 24 soldiers.
Envoys posted in Europe, Afghanistan, India and the US, among others, have been asked to furnish their recommendations for forming a strategy in view of the situation arising out of the NATO attacks, The Express Tribune quoted a foreign office official, as saying.
The meeting is expected to take place next week, the official added.
The NATO attack at Pakistani check posts near the Afghan border has prompted the country's top civil and military leadership to review political, diplomatic and military ties with Washington.
Pakistan has already shut down the NATO supply route, and has asked the US to vacate a key airbase in Balochistan.
Besides, Pakistan also avoided attending the Bonn Conference to protest the attack. (ANI)
