Islamabad, Dec 3 (ANI): Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that certain elements were trying to divide the nation on the issues of the NATO attack and Memo Gate scandal.
After a meeting of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP), Punjab's parliamentary party, PPP Punjab President Imtiaz Safdar Warraich told media representatives that during the gathering, the prime minister stated that the Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) was trying to create the impression that President Asif Ali Zardari was a threat to the country's nuclear program, The Dawn reports.
Gilani said the political parties' lack of confidence on the president was saddening, Warraich said.
The meeting took place under the chairmanship of Gilani and PPP MPAs informed him of their grievances with the Punjab bureaucracy. (ANI)
