Washington, Dec 3 (ANI): US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has said the US has the highest regard for Pakistan's sovereignty.
Insisting that the deaths of Pakistani soldiers in the NATO firing were unintentional, Clinton said that both the countries should wait for the outcome of the investigation, The Dawn reports.
During her telephonic conversation with Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, Clinton also expressed hope that Islamabad would participate in the Bonn Conference.
Gilani responded that he had promised to refer the matter of Pakistan's participation at Bonn to the Parliament's National Security Committee to German Chancellor Markel when she raised it with him.
Gilani, however, told her that the committee has supported the decision of the Cabinet not to participate in the Bonn Conference. (ANI)
