World's most expensive bag up for sale in Dubai for $3.8 m

Dubai, Nov 20 (ANI): The most expensive bag in the world, which is made out of 18 carat gold and studded with 4,517 diamonds, is on sale in Dubai for 13.9 million dirhams (3.8 million dollars).

Designed by Robert Mouawad, the purse was hand-crafted by ten highly skilled artisans who worked on the accessory for 8,800 hours.

The Mouawad 1001 Nights Diamond clutch purse, which weighs 381 carats was on display at the International Jewellery Week in the Pearl Lounge, Dubai World Trade Centre, Gulf News reported.

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the heart-shaped diamond-encrusted purse is the most expensive handbag in the world. (ANI)
