Islamabad, Nov 16 (ANI): Former Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi would reportedly decide his future political course of action after ascertaining support from the sitting Assembly members belonging to the Pakistan People's Party (PPP).
According to The Nation, Qureshi will hold a series of meetings with the PPP's dissident leaders in Multan, Islamabad and Lahore, before taking any political decision.
Inner circle members of the former PPP leaders said that Qureshi was still not sure whether to join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), or form a new group.
They further claimed that Qureshi enjoys the support of nearly 25 former ticket holders of the PPP who still have strong vote pockets in their respective constituencies.
On being asked about PTI Chief Imran Khan's statement that Qureshi would join him during the public meeting of the latter in Ghotki (Sindh) on November 27th, they maintained that Imran has contacted Qureshi urging him to take a decision. (ANI)
