Islamabad, Nov 12 (ANI): Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has yet again warned that his party will launch a civil disobedience movement across the country if any attempt is made to compromise free and fair elections in the country.
Khan ruled out any alliance with PML-N and PPP until their leaders declared their assets.
"I know they will not declare their original assets, as if they did so, many new cases can be initiated against them," The Nation quoted him, as saying.
Talking about Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan's spokesperson Ahsanullah Ahsan's statement about Khan being a "liberal", the PTI Chairman said that the TTP had misunderstood the same word.
Ahsan had said that "liberal" was an English word, and that if Khan thinks he is a representative of the people, he should talk in the language of Pakistanis, which is Urdu.
However, Khan tried to safeguard himself, saying: "Yes, I'm liberal. I am follower of great poet Allama Iqbal, who was liberal,"
He insisted that the Taliban should remember that liberalism was base of Islam. (ANI)
