Islamabad, Nov 8 (ANI): Militants blew up a high school for girls in Derai district of Katlang, on the outskirts of district Mardan in Pakistan late on Monday night.
The Express Tribune quoted sources as saying that it was the only high school for girls in the area.
They said that the militants tied about 8-10 kilogrammes of explosives to the outer walls of the school, which exploded with a bang at 30 minutes past midnight and panicked the residents.
Station House Officer (SHO) of Katlang police station, Sher Rehman, told said that three among the total five rooms, built recently, have collapsed. (ANI)
