Zardari, Gilani urge Pakistanis to promote 'brotherhood' on Eid-ul-Azha

Islamabad, Nov 7 (ANI): Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani greeted the nation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, and urged people to promote affection, tolerance, patience and brotherhood.

 

In their message on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, the two leaders said these principles were needed to create a society based on the guidance of Islam, The Nation reported. ardari urged the people to adopt values of sacrifice, brotherhood, kindness and charity to create a tolerant and harmonious society.

 

The largest Eid Congregation in the capital is being held at Faisal Mosque.

 

In Rawalpindi, the main Eid Congregation is being held at Liaqat Bagh while in Lahore, they are being held at Badshahi Mosque, Data Darbar, Masjid Shaudha, Masjid Wazir Khan and Bagh Jinnah.

 

In Karachi, Eid congregations are being held at Memon Mosque, Bagh Jinnah and several other places. (ANI)
