Tokyo, November 5 (ANI): A world record was set on Thursday with over 2000 men shaving simultaneously during an event held in Japan and abroad.
A Guinness world record was created as 1,981 men in 18 venues began shaving exactly at 12:25 pm and shaved for one minute using the same electric razor model.
The event was organised to promote Lamdash shaver by Panasonic.
It was held in Expo '70 Commemorative Park in Suita, Osaka Prefecture of Japan and in Seoul, Hong Kong and Taipei outside the country.
"It was a fresh experience for me to shave outside. I was happy to join the project," Japan Times online quoted university student Yu Murata as saying. (ANI)
