Lahore, Oct 30(ANI): Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Rana Shaukat has been burnt to death in the country's Punjab province.
Shaukat, the president of PML-N Kasur, was burnt alive in a dera in the Changa Manga area late Saturday night, The Express Tribune reports.
His charred body was discovered early on Sunday morning, and his hands and feet were found tied to his bed, the report said.
The police reached the place of the incident, but refused to comment unless details are uncovered after investigation, it added.
Shaukat was a relative of Punjab Assembly Speaker Rana Iqbal.
Meanwhile, Several PML-N offices came under attack in various areas of Sindh early morning on Sunday.
Two offices were set on fire while other offices in Larkana, Hyderabad, Kandkhot and Jacobabad areas also came under attack when unidentified gunmen opened fire on them.
The miscreants also torched portraits of PML-N leaders, including party leader Nawaz Sharif, outside the offices.
The Sindh provincial and home ministers have taken notice of the incidents and have called for probe into the incident.
Initial investigation report has to be submitted within three days. (ANI)
