Chinese delegates leave country for India, Pakistan, Indonesia visit

Beijing, Sat, 29 Oct 2011 ANI

Beijing, Oct 29 (ANI): A delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has left the country on a good will visit to Indonesia, India and Pakistan.

The delegation, led by Lu Hao, a member of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Gansu Provincial Committee, was invited by Indonesia's Golkar Party, India's Foreign Ministry and Pakistan People's Party, Xinhua reports.

Against the backdrop of a host of issues, India and China will hold the 15th round of boundary talks in New Delhi in November, which could also lead to the sealing of a joint border mechanism between them.

China and Pakistan have showed interest in making their bond much stronger after the US blamed the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) of having links with the Haqqani Network.

China openly supported Pakistan, saying that the US should not harm the sovereignty of Islamabad. (ANI)
