Islamabad, Oct 29(ANI): Commenting on the issuance of arrest warrant of All Pakistan Muslim League President Pervez Musharraf in the Nawab Akbar Bugti murder case, APML spokesman Fawad Chaudhry has said that the court's judgment 'would open Pandora's box'.
Fawad said that Bugti was killed in a military operation, adding that it was not yet confirmed whether he had committed suicide in his cave in Kohlu or had died as a result of a cave-in incident.
In a press release, the APML spokesman said that the court's judgment for issuing arrest warrants of Musharraf would open Pandora's box since the security forces carried out military operations in different areas of the country in different situations on the instructions of political leadership and in accordance of constitution of Pakistan.
Therefore, those operations could not be challenged in any court of the country, he added.
Fawad said that the astonishing decision would create severe consequences, Online-International News Network reports.
In future, any government would not be able to call the military in face of any difficulty because the civil, military and governmental machinery would have to face cases in courts after the completion of their security missions, he added.
Fawad explained that the court's decision would encourage the elements that used to challenge every governmental move, and that this action would strengthen the miscreants and cause turbulence for peace and law and order situation of the country. (ANI)
