Kathmandu, Oct. 19 (ANI): Six people, believed tobe Nepal Army personnel, were killed after a plane in which they were travelling, crashed on the Chaudhulko Dhuri hillock in Baglung district in western Nepal on Tuesday evening.
Xinhua quoted Nepal Army spokesperson Ramindra Chettri, as saying that so far, four of the six dead bodies have been recovered from the crash site.
The Britten-Norman Islander NA aircraft was carrying a patient to Kathmandu. The plane lost its way shortly after it took off from Nepalgunj Airport at 6.35 p.m. local time and crashed on the hillock at around 7: 05 p.m. local time.
This is the second crash in Nepal in a month. On September 25, 19 people were killed in an air crash in the Kathmandu Valley. (ANI)
