Chinese woman hides license plate with sanitary pad to escape cops

New Delhi, Oct 9 (ANI): A Chinese woman, who violated the traffic rules by over speeding on an expressway, covered her license plate with a sanitary pad in a bid to escape the cops.

According to zjnews.zjol.com.cn, the incident took place in Quzhou, Zhejiang province, last week, when the woman, surnamed Jiang (not real name) broke the speed limit, China Daily reported.

She confessed that she feared punishment and felt sorry for what she did.

"I was afraid being captured for speeding by the monitor, so I stick a pad which has sticky parts on the car number tag," she said.

Jiang was imposed a fine of 400 yuan for speeding and covering her license plate and also 9 points were deducted from her driver's license. (ANI)
