Los Angeles, Oct.7 (ANI): The family of Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple Inc, who was credited with changing computing and American culture before he died of pancreatic cancer on Wednesday, is working on building a website on which people will be able to share their memories of Jobs.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Jobs' family announced the formation of the site, which is expected to launch soon, in a statement issued on Wednesday night after he died.
His family said in a statement: "We are grateful for the support and kindness of those who share our feelings for Steve. We know many of you will mourn with us, and we ask that you respect our privacy during our time of grief."
Apple is collecting thoughts, memories and condolences at an e-mail address it has set up: rememberingsteve@apple.com.
Apple hasn't said whether or not messages contributed to the email account will end up on the Jobs family's website, but it is likely as the Jobs family has made Apple its point of contact for media-related matters. (ANI)
