Pak Commerce Minister's son barred from travelling out of UAE over bounced cheque

Dubai, Sep 19(ANI): Pakistan Commerce Minister Ameen Fahim's son Makdhoum Najeeb has been barred from travelling out of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to a bounced cheque.

 

A criminal case is registered in the UAE against a person in case of a bounced cheque.

 

According to the Gulf News, Najeeb was stopped at the Dubai International Airport on Saturday evening and was barred from leaving the country.

 

He was told to report to the Jebel Ali Police Station in connection with the case.n reporting to the police station, Najeeb was detained, but was released after the intervention of the Pakistani Consulate in Dubai.

 

Najeeb's passport was taken by the police as a guarantee. (ANI)
