London, Sept 19 (ANI): A UK based toy company is to bring out a range of toys based on the British Army in Afghanistan and one of the plastic soldiers will be modelled on Prince Harry.
Hornby, the leading model railway brand, will be bringing out a range of tanks, helicopters and soldiers, which will go on sale next year, the Telegraph reported.
The range of models on a 1:48 scale will include six different soldiers on patrol and a photograph of the Prince of Wales is being used to make sure that the details of the weapons, equipment and uniform are correct, whereas the face of the toy resembling that of the 27-year-old is doubtful.
Hornby is using the famous picture of the third in line to the throne on patrol in the Helmand Province in 2008 as a model for one of the plastic soldiers.
The new range is a part of the strategy to come up with products that can replace what Hornby expects to be a once in a lifetime opportunity to knock off all competitors as one of the official London 2012 merchandise manufacturers. (ANI)
