Beijing, Sept 17 (ANI): A Chinese lawmaker, Tian Hanwen, has been fired after sex video images of him were posted online last month.
Hanwen has been removed from the Ruyang County's Standing Committee of People's Congress in Henan Province and expelled from the Communist Party of China, Luoyang discipline inspection commission, which administers Ruyang, said.
An unidentified woman, who posted several sex video images of her and Hanwen on the popular website, kdnet.net also claimed that Hanwen had failed to keep up his promise of offering her job in return for sex.
She said Hanwen had shot the sex video, and that several women had fallen into the trap.
Chinese authorities' statement also said Hanwen has been involved in other illegal matters, Xinhua reports.
Hanwen has been suspended from the Standing Committee of People's Congress since August 3. (ANI)
