New York, Sept 14 (ANI): Dick Cheney has revealed that marriage worked as a catalyst for him to change his youthful hard partying ways.
During an interview with 'The View', the 70-year-old former vice president of the US said that his wife, Lynne, never formally intervened to sideline his revelry, but once they were married in their early 20s in 1964, he realised he needed to change his ways.
"I decided that I had to clean up my act. I was headed down a bad road," the New York Post quoted him as saying.
"Ten years later I was White House Chief of Staff [under President Gerald Ford in 1975]," he added. (ANI)
