Tripoli, Aug 28(ANI): Libyan rebels and looters have thronged into the Bab al-Aziziya complex to tour the place where Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi once lived.
The complex has been thronged with curious and fascinated onlookers, who got the first opportunity to peer inside Gaddafi's home and take photographs ever since Gaddafi and his son Seif al Islam have fled from the country.
"I'm taking photos to show to my brothers and family still in Tunisia," the Guardian quoted a surgeon, Salah Ermih, as saying.
Ermih said that he skipped the work in the hospital to have a look at Gaddafi's inner sanctum.
"A month ago, I knew this would happen. Gaddafi was getting weaker and weaker. What would happen to Libya now? We should be a democracy. But in our own way", he added.
Gaddafi's villa houses a state-of-the-art kitchen, a large store cupboard and a collection of videos.
The sprawling six square kilometre compound also has offices and residential buildings.
However, many people turned up at Bab al-Aziziya complex to grab whatever previous looters had left behind.
Gaddafi's villa has now become a pleasure ground for the common people.(ANI)
