Washington, August 26 (ANI): US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle are planning to visit Australia in November.
White House official have said it is 'possible' that the president will stop in Australia ahead of his trip to Bali. The schedule of the visit is, however, yet to be confirmed.
"We haven't made any announcements yet about the trip," a White House spokesperson was quoted, as saying by The Telegraph.
Obama is likely to be at the President's Cup golf tournament organized is Melbourne and held from November 14-20, when US players take on a team from the rest of the world.f Obama goes ahead with his Australia visit, he is then expected to fly from Hawaii to Indonesia in mid-November.
The president is scheduled to host the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum in Honolulu on November 13 and is then expected to fly to Bali to attend the East Asia Summit on November 19.
Obama planned to visit Australia twice in 2010, but both trips were cancelled. (ANI)
