Beijing, Aug.24 (ANI): A 55-year-old general manager of the Chinese Railway collapsed and died during an inspection of July 23 high-speed train crash site earlier this week.
China Railway Signal and Communication Corporation identified the deceased executive as Ma Cheng and said he died Monday "during a safety inspection in Shenzhen."
A spokesman for the state-owned company couldn't be reached to comment by the Wall Street Journal.
The July 23 crash claimed the lives of 40 people. (ANI)
