London, Aug 23 (ANI): Former UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher has been featured as seducing Tony Blair before they end up in bed together in a new comedy for Channel 4.
'The Hunt For Tony Blair' is from the team behind 'The Comic Strip Presents', starring Green Wing actor Stephen Mangan and comedienne Jennifer Saunders.
In one scene she is shown sitting on a chaise longue and flirting with Blair while telling him, "I won my war... you didn't."
In a later scene they are shown in bed smoking cigarettes, as if they have just had sex.
A source, who has seen the film, said that it is likely to be "hugely embarrassing", and to make matters worse, Channel 4 plans to screen it on the same day the Chilcot inquiry reveals its verdict on the Iraq war.
"They used quotes from Blair's memoirs as well as acting out scenes described in it, alongside comic moments. It's clear it is a comedy, but that won't stop it making Blair squirm," the Mirror quoted a Channel 4 source as saying.
"He won't like being the subject of something mocking him and his entire career. It's the last thing he needs," the source said.
Blair will also be seen killing his rivals and going on the run after he is accused of murdering Labour leader John Smith. (ANI)
