London, Aug 21 (ANI): A total of 2,496 people gathered in Taiwan to spin their plastic rings for an impressive three minutes and smash the world record for mass hula hooping.
The previous record was set in 2000 with the presence of 2,290 people in the nearby town of Kaohsiung, reports the Daily Mail.
The event was indeed a unique way to celebrate the Republic of China's centennial and to inspire people to get more exercise.
The event was organised by a local health food company. (ANI)
