Islamabad, Aug.20 (ANI): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has blamed misgovernance and corruption for the ongoing bloodbath in Karachi.
In a statement issued by the party's media cell, Imran said that governance has collapsed and the government is watching the situation with indifference while innocent lives are being lost in Karachi.
The PTI chief said the collapse of law and order is a direct consequence of the misgovernance and corruption that has paralysed the country's law enforcement agencies, including the police.
The present government is the worst in Pakistan's history, he said, adding that if the present chaos were allowed to continue, it would threaten the future of democracy in the country.
Imran said it seems there is no government in Pakistan to protect the life of property of citizens, as people from Karachi to Khyber have been left at the mercy of criminals and terror groups, which are backed by political elements. (ANI)
