New York, Aug 19 (ANI): Just two days after a small Texas town allowed a 'tween' mayor to rename a street 'Justin Bieber Way', the street sign has been stolen.
The street became famous on Tuesday after 11-year-old 'mayor for a day' Caroline Gonzalez renamed Forney's Main Street after the Canadian pop star.
According to The Dallas Morning News, the sign was supposed to remain in place through the weekend but got swiped off on Thursday.
However, town's real mayor Darren Rozell has vowed to replace the sign.
"It may be someone's idea of a joke," the New York Post quoted him as saying.
"But we're not going to leave this little girl's summer on a sour note," he added. (ANI)
