Beijing, Aug 13(ANI): Rapid urbanization and property development is resulting in China opening a new hotel every four days.
According to a Jones LaSelle Survey, about 90 internationally branded hotels will have opened every year in China between 2010 to 2013, according to the Shanghai Morning Post.
This increase has led to fiercer competition.
The high demand for hotels has also alleviated potential competition-related problems.
According to the China Daily, an increase in business trips has stepped up hotel incomes through occupancy- driven rather than price-driven patterns.
Chinese hotel market reported a healthy performance between 2010 and first half of 2011. (ANI)
