Islamabad, Aug 7 (ANI): Jamaat-ud-Dawah Ameer Professor Hafiz Muhammad Saeed has said that India and the United States are behind the worsening situation in Balochistan and Karachi.
He accused these two countries of trying to weaken Pakistan, The News reports.
Meanwhile, Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Syed Munawwar Hasan has said that the mysterious activities of US Ambassador Cameron Munter were dangerous to Pakistan's security and unity, demanding that Washington must not be allowed to open a consulate in Quetta.
Yesterday, Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani had said that the situations in Karachi and Balochistan were totally different and that India is not behind every trouble in the country.
He said that Pakistan's security issues were linked to the conflict in Afghanistan, adding: "The situation in Pakistan won't improve until there is normalcy in Afghanistan."
He also emphasized that Pakistan would never compromise on its strategic national interests. (ANI)
