London, Aug 4 (ANI): Sarah Palin's signature hairstyle has inspired TLC to produce a new reality show called 'Big Hair Alaska'.
The Beehive salon, credited with giving the former Alaskan governor and erstwhile Republican vice presidential nominee's beehive look, will feature in the two-part special on the TV channel.
The special will follow on from a previous TLC Palin-inspired show, 'Sarah Palin's Alaska'.This special goes inside a busy hair salon is Wasilla, AK, where the personalities of the owner and her staff are as big as the hairstyles they create," the Daily Mail quoted TLC as saying.
Jessica Steele, owner of the Beehive and avid supporter of her most famous client, is effusive about the forthcoming show.
"TLC just announced their fall lineup, and we are on it!!!! Our show is called Big Hair Alaska!!!! Omg!!! It's really happening!!!! :)," Steele posted on Facebook.
The show will air in September. (ANI)
