Islamabad, July 31 (ANI): Former foreign minister and Pakistan Peoples Party leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said Kashmiris must be included in Indo-Pak talks.
"The real stakeholders of the Kashmir conflict are the Kashmiris, who must be included in the Indo-Pak talks. The Kashmir issue and the water crisis are the two sides of the same coin. Pakistan, an atomic power, will talk with India on equal basis," The Nation quoted Qureshi, as saying.
He also said that Pakistan has discussed the issue with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who admitted assured that following the mechanism the issue could rightly be resolved.
He added that the Indian Intelligence has rightly advised its leadership to review its current policy of brutality in the occupied Kashmir and change the current scenario there. He ruled out any active role of back channel diplomacy. (ANI)
