Islamabad, July 30 (ANI): Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has reiterated that his country desires to have good neighbourly relations with all regional countries, including India, in the larger interest of the welfare of the people of South Asia.
Talking to Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar, Gilani said the continuation of the dialogue process with India would help both sides improve regional environment and facilitate discussions on all issues confronting them.
Khar briefed Gilani on her visit to India and outcome of the talks.
Gilani said it was an encouraging sign that Indo-Pak talks were helping to develop better understanding of each other's viewpoint on all issues, including the Jammu and Kashmir issue.
Khar also called on Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari and briefed him about her recent visit to India and her discussions with the Indian leadership, the Express Tribune reports.
Zardari expressed satisfaction over the progress made during the Khar's visit to India.
"Pakistan welcomes commitment of the two sides to work together in seeking early and amicable solutions to all issues between the two countries", Zardari said. (ANI)
