Washington, July 30(ANI): The Obama administration has reportedly slapped curbs on the movement of Pakistani diplomats and embassy staffers in the United States.
According to the Nation, the move is seen as a response to Pakistani Government's decision to impose travel restrictions on US diplomats and other embassy officials, after several US diplomats were found travelling illegally in Pakistan's sensitive areas.
Pakistan had earlier imposed travel ban on American diplomats stationed in Islamabad and other parts of the country, and the diplomats were not allowed to move anywhere without seeking a No-Objection Certificate.
The restriction on American diplomats and counsel generals in Pakistan has been continuing for few days.
The US Embassy or Pakistan Government spokesperson did not convey any official word or reaction on the move. (ANI)
