London, July 16 (ANI): French First Lady Carla Bruni, who is expecting a child with President Nicolas Sarkozy, has described her pregnancy as "unexpected and unhoped for".
In an interview with French magazine Nice-Matin, Bruni admitted that the pregnancy was a complete surprise, and that it is "a magnificent period in her life".
"I'm making an album, but it's not quite finished yet because of this happiness to come, unexpected and unhoped for," the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.
She also played down rumours that she is expecting a boy.
"I don't know myself! There are things that we need to keep secret," she added. (ANI)
