Islamabad, July 16 (ANI): Pakistan's Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs has stressed the need of maintaining good relations with the United States, but rejected its policies infringing upon the country's sovereignty.
It stressed the need for safeguarding Pakistan's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, and rejected any tendency or approach that would affect its dignity.
According to the Daily Times, the committee recommended the Pakistan Government to reject the US policies violating sovereignty, territorial sovereignty, and resist its unilateral actions especially drone strikes, which were 'unacceptable. (ANI)
