New York, July 10 (ANI): Hours before Dominique Strauss-Kahn allegedly sexually assaulted a hotel maid, he was seen getting into the elevator with a mystery woman who has been identified by sources as his 'secret girlfriend'.
The woman is also married and works in the New York City banking world, the New York Post reports.
The woman was caught on surveillance video at the Sofitel hotel with Strauss-Kahn on May 14. They got on an elevator and took it up to his floor, the report said.
The 32-year-old hotel maid entered Strauss-Kahn's suite later that morning, and claimed she was attacked around noon.
The Manhattan DA's Office sought to interview Strauss Kahn's alleged girlfriend, but she refused.
Two hotel workers also told investigators that the 62-year old former IMF chief had invited them to his suite the same night.
The report came as French prosecutors launched an inquiry into a female novelist's claim that Strauss-Kahn attempted to rape her in a Paris apartment in 2003. (ANI)
