London, July 5 (ANI): Prince William and Kate will be visiting Canada's Northwest Territories, one of the most remote and unpopulated regions of the Commonwealth country, to play 'street hockey'.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are said to have expressed desire to visit the territories where the landscape is covered by thousands of lakes, reports Mirror.co.uk.

After reaching the region's capital, Yellowknife, the royal couple will join the premier of the place Floyd Roland, a former minor league ice hockey coach and player, for the game of 'shinny' or street hockey.

During the event both the Prince as well as Ronald will be seen administering short speeches. (ANI)
