Lahore, July 4 (ANI): A 20-year-old girl identified as Kausar was shot dead in the name of honour in Nawab Town within Sattukatla police precincts in Pakistan's Punjab province.
According to the police, her brothers Zaman and Shada suspected that she had an affair with her cousin. They had also warned Kausar several times but she turned a deaf ear to their advice.
Consequently, the brothers fired on Kausar, injuring her seriously. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she died, the Daily Times reports.
Police have registered a case against the accused on the complaint of deceased's father, Falak Sher. No arrest has been made in the case so far. (ANI)
