Washington, July 3 (ANI): US President Barack Obama will hold a 'town hall' web cast on Twitter on Wednesday to answer public queries on economy and jobs.
The White House used Twitter to announce Wednesday's event and invited people to start submitting queries.
Jack Dorsey, Twitter co-founder and executive chairman who sent the first Tweet ever in March 2006, will moderate the discussion.
Dorsey will ask Obama the questions Twitter users post, and the President's responses will appear in real-time on the White House Twitter feed.
Obama hosted a similar town hall on Facebook in April with the site's creator, Mark Zuckerberg.
The Twitter town hall and Obama's personal tweets are part of his efforts to ramp-up the social media aspect of his campaign. (ANI)
