Melbourne, Mar 9 (ANI): A publican in Australia has promised to shout Prince William a beer if he ever drops by his hotel in flood-affected Victoria.
Prince William will be visiting Queensland's cyclone and flood-affected areas before heading south to survey the flood damage in northwestern Victoria.
Steve Sutcliffe, a licensee of Lake Boga's Commercial Hotel, said a visit from the 28-year-old royal could refocus attention on areas still struggling to recover from the summer floods.
"I'd shake Will's hand if he popped in. I'd shout him a beer," News.com.au quoted Sutcliffe as saying.
"It couldn't hurt, could it? Any publicity for the area is good publicity," he said of William visiting the place.
Sutcliffe said it could also lift community spirits.
"I think people are looking for distractions. People would get a buzz out of it," he said. (ANI)
