Washington, Mon, 07 Feb 2011 ANI

Washington, Feb 7 (ANI): A shootout during a party at a Youngstown State University fraternity house in Ohio has reportedly left a person dead, and 11 others injured.

ABC News quoted Youngstown police as saying that they have arrested two men in connection with the shootings, but refused to disclose their names as they were still carrying out investigations into the matter.

Both the suspects have been charged with one count of aggravated murder, 11 counts of aggravated assault and one count of shooting into a house

According to Youngstown police Chief Jimmy Hughes, the duo got into an argument at the party and left the house. However, they came back again and started shooting outside the house.

"These guys were in the location for a little while before the shooting occurred. Something happened that they became unhappy. They had some type of altercation," Hughes added.

YSU officials said that the Mahoning County coroner's office has identified the murdered man as 25-year-old Jamail E. Johnson, and added that at least six of the wounded were students at the school.

Johnson was shot in the head and legs, the coroner's office said. (ANI)
