London, Feb 6 (ANI): The FBI has arrested an Arizona man accused of interrupting 2009 Super Bowl broadcast with 37 seconds of porn.
Two years ago sports fans in Arizona were shocked when coverage of the football game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals was interrupted with an adult movie, reports the Daily Mail.
Now, hours before the 2011 Super Bowl, the FBI has arrested Frank Tanori Gonzalez, who they believe is the man behind it.
The FBI and Marana police took Gonzalez into custody late yesterday on suspicion of fraud and computer tampering.
Authorities say someone cut into the Comcast cable broadcast of the game that went to viewers in the Tucson area.
Comcast ended up offering a 10dollars credit to all of its 80,000 subscribers, whether they saw the brief X-rated clip or not, and the investigation was turned over to the FBI.uthorities didn't say what led them to Gonzalez. His age and other background information weren't available and it was unclear if he has a lawyer.
The Arizona Cardinals had just scored a touchdown to go 23-20 ahead of the Pittsburg Steelers in the American Football game when the material was shown on channel KVOA.
The NBC-affiliated TV station, based in Tucson, was flooded with complaints from furious parents who were watching the game with their children. (ANI)
