Melbourne, Jan 24 (ANI): Dead Space 2, an upcoming survival horror third-person shooter video game, is so gruesome that it even scares its creator.
The video game is said to have freaked out players around the world, and even the people who created Dead Space 2 say they get scared playing it.
"You know, it stills freaks me out at times," News.com.au quoted gameplay producer Shereif Fattouh as saying.
"I know when I'm in a bad situation and I know what's coming up next, and I'm still scared," Fattouh stated.
Dead Space was released in 2008 and it was one of the scariest and most gruesome titles in recent history.
Set on an abandoned spaceship filled with "necromorph" monsters, the game took its cues from sci-fi cinema classics like 'Alien'.
"We find inspiration everywhere. All of us are fans of horror and sci-fi and we have a lot of reference materials," Fattouh added. (ANI)
